As someone going through their own major life transition at the moment, I have found guiding frameworks quite difficult to find. There is probably a lot to be said that everyone’s journey is unique- which makes these journeys so intriguing in the first place! However, one thing that is universally valuable are benchmarks to evaluate where you are at, and where you want to go. I suspect this is why financial wealth is often prioritized at the expense of other areas- it is the easiest to measure with a scoreboard you can check every day (probably to your own detriment long-term even financially).
That’s one of the reasons I am so excited for Sahil’s book- I’m very intrigued to get his take on life prioritization and how to measure areas outside the financial realm. A great sneak preview though is this Wealth Quiz which provides a nice baseline. If you are considering making some changes, or just love a good online quiz, give it a go.
